Hey there,

We would like to invite you to this weekend gathering "With music to living utopia!"

As the Lützi Music Collective, we have been working for some time to build a network of political musicians. We want to organize another face-to-face meeting soon for people from the Lützi Music Kollektiv and other musicians and interested individuals alike. We want to continue networking there, get to know each other, have a good time together, make music together and deal with questions that concern us, e.g:

How can we use our music to help politicize people and encourage them to collective self-organizing?

How can we overcome the traditional separation between audience and musicians and find new ways of making music together?

How can music become an empowering experience for people that enables them to experience new forms of living together?

We have come up with the following concept, to which we would like to invite you. From September 27 to 29, we would like to meet at the K20 Projekthaus in Salzderhelden (near Göttingen). Together with you, we want to shape and improve a concept that we can try out directly on Saturday evening. We want to organize a public cultural evening in Einbeck (a town near Salzderhelden), where we will test how we can best reach people with busking and motivate them to (self-)organize politically. You'll get more information about the already existing idea and generally about the gathering later via email.

If it works well, we can use our learnings to create a template for a direct action tool (e.g. in the form of a text, short zine or similar) that can be used flexibly by other musicians.

Besides that, there will be relaxation in a beautiful place, self-organized delicious food and musical companionship. We would be happy to see you there!
